Rules of the map

The short, player-facing rules for taking a territory, replacing its holder, and reading the public record.

2026-08-24-draftDraft rules published 24 August 20267 sections

1. You are buying a public position

A territory position is paid digital placement on this website. It is not land, title, or ownership of a Nigerian state, and it does not create endorsement, authority, equity, a prize, or a financial return.

2. The price is fixed and public

The map and checkout show the amount required now. To take an open or occupied territory, you pay the full published price. A smaller bid, deposit, or promise does not reserve it.

3. A later patron can replace you

After a valid claim, the next published price increases. Somebody else can take the position by paying that full price. The displaced holder receives no payout or credit; their confirmed event remains in history.

4. Confirmation wins the race

A quote or checkout screen is not a win. Only a confirmed ledger event changes the current holder. If several people try at once, the first valid payment committed against the current territory version wins.

5. Losing money is not part of the game

If Paystack confirms money was captured but the position cannot be validly delivered, the payment enters the stated refund or review process. Never pay again while a result is uncertain unless the result page explicitly gives you a new quote.

6. Your display must be honest and lawful

Use a name, statement, image, and link you have permission to publish. No impersonation, false official status, infringement, deception, threats, hate, unlawful material, or unsafe links. Fanbase and celebrity references do not prove affiliation.

7. Moderation can change the display, not the facts

We may reject, hide, or neutralise customer content and may hold an account or territory during review. Confirmed financial events stay in the auditable record even when the public-facing representation is removed.
